Juggling
Expect the best from the best juggler in Dallas-Fort Worth! Stainless steel machetes, flaming torches, eggs, and even a real bowling ball are incorporated into hilarious audience-engaging routines. David Slick does tricks with 7 beanbags and juggles 7 rings in a dizzying array of color. Light-up juggling props and a strobe light are available if the room can be darkened. Fire and knife juggling are done with safe precautions. An accident has never occurred in Slick's show.
Can someone juggle with both arms stretched behind their back? There are few ways (and few objects) that David Slick can't juggle. When Slick performs with another juggler, a new dimension of juggling is possible: pass juggling. With volunteers in the middle, balls, clubs, torches, knives, or almost anything else can be juggled around them. Arrangements can be made to have Slick break another Guinness World Record at your event!
Fire
Is watching Slick juggle 5 flaming torches while wearing a hat that was set on fire not good enough? How about spinning fire around his body to the song "Ring of Fire"? Were the magic tricks with fire not big enough for you? Then be amazed as Slick breathes fire. A huge fireball shoots from his mouth as Slick spits fuel with all his might. Pictures of this phenomenal sure-fire crowd-pleaser are breathtaking. Slick is a trained professional and has never had an accident.
Unicycling
This isn't a cute a little wheel that you see clowns ride. Slick's mountain unicycle jumps ledges, rides downstairs, and even skips rope! His 5-foot tall unicycle puts him at about 9 feet in the air . . . while juggling torches!
Stilt Walking
How many people do you know that can juggle? How many do you know who are over 8 feet and juggle? This eye-catching spectacle is hard to miss in any size crowd. Complete with long pants and huge fake shoes. If you want Uncle Sam on stilts for July 3rd or 4th book FAR in advance.
Balance Stunts
Taking almost anything from the audience (shoes, pens, paper, chairs), David Slick can do sit ups while balancing it on his face. Slick can balance a chair on his face while doing sit ups, after the occupant has kindly been removed.
Surfing
Standing on a board on a large pipe, David Slick surfs with juggling tricks, spinning jumps, and all the while dressed in a Hawaiian outfit with appropriate music coming from his PA system.
Magic
Slick's magic tricks are 100% amazing and comedy. You'll be scratching your head and laughing at the same time. You'll see magic with cards, knives, silks, and items from the audience. Slick will escape from police thumb cuffs, pull an 8 ft. straw from a fast food bag, and much more.
Card Throwing
Taking an ordinary playing card, Slick throws it over a crowd 100+ feet! He can even cut through paper and pop balloons by throwing playing cards at them! For a laugh, David Slick puts Styrofoam boards on his curtain/backdrop and safely throws the cards into the boards and around a volunteer. It's a hilarious and safe parody of throwing knives around a volunteer. Note: Playing cards can only hurt you if they hit your eyes, therefore, all volunteers for these tricks are provided with effective and comical safety goggles.
Balloon Twisting
Very basic sculptures (sword, hat, dog, bird, gun, butterfly, flower), but Slick will try anything and the children always enjoy them.
Other
3 boxes are quickly manipulated with his hands, feet, and head. Cane manipulation is a classy act. A devil stick (or rhythm stick) dances on the two hand sticks and all over Slick.
Teaching
Slick has taught these skills at elementary Fine Arts Days all the way to the college level. The number of people Slick has taught to juggle is in the thousands. Equipment provided by Slick himself at no additional charge.
